When I was little, I used to adore watching my mother making cakes, cookies and other sweets. Once the recipe was finished and baking, my mother gave me the spoon and I could 'lick the bowl', as we say it now.

I started making my own recipes a little late. Then I started offering them in gifts on many occasions. The great comments I received grew into this dream that became 'Les Gateries de Sophie'.

I hope you enjoy tasting my cakes as much as I enjoyed making them. And if you find yourself close to my kitchen, come take a tour. Who knows, maybe you can 'lick the bowl' too!
